Israel During COVID. Top 10 Sites with No Crowds!

During a recent visit to Israel with my father, we get lucky as their are NO CROWDS during our visit to the most famous holy sites in the country. Israel briefly opened to foreigners in November 2021, before closing again in December due to the Omicron variant. This unique look shows famous holy sites that are typically swarming with tourists – except this time, we’ve got the place almost entirely to ourselves.

Niagara Falls and the World’s Best Buffalo Wings

I visit Western New York for the first time in several years. Along side me is my son, who is visiting Niagara Falls for the first time. We enjoy the sites and sounds of Maid of the Mist. Afterwards is a late night venture into Buffalo where we sample the worlds greatest Buffalo Wings.

5 Fantastic Places in Europe That Most American’s Don’t Know About

Most American’s love Europe, but they barely scratch the surface when it comes to European travel. Beyond Paris, London, and Rome there are so many amazing places to explore. In this video I visit 5 locations that are among my favorite “lesser known” locations in Europe. While all of these places receive tourists, usually they come from other parts of Europe. As an American, I can say with confidence that the locations featured in this video are “not-on-the-radar” for the average tourist from the states.

Stockholm Sweden – 7 Loves and a disappointment

Just days before the world closed to with the coronavirus pandemic, I made a visit to Stockholm, Sweden where I discovered 7 things I loved about the city, and one disappointment. Stockholm is a terrific city (though during the winter time its a bit frigid). Among things I loved in Stockholm were the Vasa Museum, Swedish Meatballs, the subway system, and (of course) the ABBA museum where I pushed my entertainment and singing talents to the limit! My time in Stockholm wasn’t perfect however, as my expectations were built up to experience the wonders of the Drottingholm palace, something […]

Best Museum in Stuttgart, Germany. Mercedes or Porsche?

One city, two iconic car museums. I take you on a tour of both musuems and tell you which one I like best. These are two iconic “must see” museums – each of them took tens-of-millions of dollars to build. They both house a collection of iconic automobiles and they both attract tens-of-thousands of visitors each year. So which one is best? I have some different thoughts on both of these places. The Mercedes Benz museum is surely world class and I was basically impressed by everything , except the lack of a Mercedes to sit in. That’s right, […]

All Alone Inside St Basil’s Cathedral

A unique and remarkable experience for me on a recent trip to Russia as I found myself alone in the famous St. Basil’s cathedral (upper sanctuary) when a quartet started to sing. It’s not too often that you find yourself alone in a church as iconic as St. Basil’s cathedral, however, one day while visiting Moscow, I was the first to enter the main sanctuary and what happened next was a complete surprise as an extraordinarily talented quartet of singers started to sing. I was fortunate enough to remember to pull out my camera and record the event as […]

30+ Nativity Scenes from 30 Different Countries

In this video I showcase 30 different nativity scenes from my collection, each coming from 30 different countries. This collection has been a work in progress over the two decades as many of these nativities were picked up in Ecuador in the early 2000’s. Since that time I’ve made an effort to expand the collection as I’ve visited different countries throughout the world. Sometimes it’s easy to find a nativity as they are relatively common in countries in Europe. However, in some places, particularly in Asia, Christian nativities are harder to find and one must hunt for them high […]
